These custom-made lead wall mats are designed specifically for climbing walls with top rope or lead climbing. Unlike bouldering mats, these are thinner and denser, made to cushion low-impact falls and ensure a safe base zone in rope-secured climbing areas.

The carpeted surface offers excellent acoustic damping and helps reduce airborne chalk dust – a major advantage in indoor spaces with many hard surfaces.

The mats are custom-built to fit the layout of your wall and can be delivered as movable modules or permanently fixed to the floor for maximum stability. Choose the solution that fits your facility – and we’ll take care of everything from measuring and design to production and delivery.

TECHNICALS

The foam

10 cm N2790 polyurethane foam (PU foam)
Density of 27 kg/m³
Compressive strength of 90 kPa. This is a very high value, making the foam very firm and resistant to deformation. It provides a firm surface that does not sink significantly under load.

MEASURING

DESIGNING

Based on your layout, we create a custom 3D design using SketchUp. This allows you to visualise the final result and ensures that the mats will fit your space perfectly – including details like wedge edges for sit-start areas if needed.

Each mat is made to order to your facility

MANUFACTURING

Once you’ve approved the design, we begin production. Each mat is custom-made with the required foam density, thickness, and surface material. The cover and foam are prepared to fit together exactly as planned.

Careful packaging and clear labelling

DELIVERY

Your mats are packed and shipped directly to your location – anywhere in the world. All components are clearly labelled and carefully packed to ensure smooth handling upon arrival.

Self-installation – or leave it to our experts

INSTALLATION

Due to their size, the mats are delivered unassembled. Foam and covers come with a clear assembly guide and layout drawing. You can install them yourself – or we can send a professional technician to handle the setup for you.

Carpet cover

Pros:

Easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner
Collects the chalk in the textile fibers, which can be easily removed by cleaning
It has a huge noise absorbing ability and it feels really comfortable
The carpet cover provides a relaxing and cozy atmosphere

Cons:

Compared to vinyl it is less durable
Holds stains and odors. Needs cleaning on a regular basis

Vinyl cover

Pros:

Very flexible and durable material
Resistant to stains
Easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner and a cloth
Few or no seams

Cons:

No noise absorption
Does not hold the chalk
