AUTO BELAY SERVICE

An auto belay is an automated belay partner, widely used on climbing walls across the country. We have a long-standing collaboration with English Arrestyd Ltd, who are experts in developing and servicing belay devices for climbing. These devices are used in climbing gyms, play centers with climbing walls, and training facilities. 

LOCAL ANNUAL INSPECTION

To maximize user safety, all auto belays undergo annual inspections. 

When you buy an Arrestyd unit from us, you are automatically included in our service program. This means that we will notify you when it is time for the next service, relieving you of the responsibility of keeping track of the service schedule. 

A crucial part of our collaboration with Arrestyd is the continuous training of our service agents so that we can conduct the annual service ourselves. This ability to inspect and repair the units locally in Denmark results in faster turnaround times for our customers. We also stock spare parts for the auto belays at Gubbies to ensure quick and efficient service for you. In rare cases, we may need to send the unit to Arrestyd in the UK, but we are constantly working to optimize all inspection processes to minimize customer downtime.

There are two options: we can either visit your location to service your auto belay, or you can send the auto belay to our facility in Aarhus, where we will service it. During the annual service inspection, the unit is disassembled, and all parts are inspected, lubricated, maintained, and replaced if necessary. The unit is then reassembled, tested, and returned with a new certificate from Arrestyd, allowing it to be used again.

Depending on the numbers of units at your facility the service inspection typically takes about half a day, after which the auto belay(s) will be ready for use immediately. If sent to Aarhus, the turnaround time is usually about a week.
